“How I Spent My SUMMER VACATION”
Well, I spent a very exciting 6 months in 2009 working with the fine folks at the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest under the “Summer Vacation” theme.
The days went by incredibly quick with logo alterations (original below by Aerographics), interpreting and incorporating ideas into every imaginable form of print and web. I worked with outside firms and inside staff to help make sure every bit of entertainment was primed, painted and posted on time and with an eye on unique needs and adherence to their tight schedule and communication standards. The show went on and it was the biggest and shiniest adventure I'd had in years. From my start in April to the wrap–up in October, the action never slowed. I was busy, but never felt tired, even after the final curtain on my contract.

There were badges...from a to z and back
buttons, brochures...and banners
logos, t shirts, newsletters, pictures and ads...oh my!

...and lots more in the way of Point of Purchase, signs, outdoor banners, web banners, internal docs and all the liason-ezz that goes with the job. Thanks to Mark Monahan, and Mike R and Nathalie L and Tammy P and Sarah PC and AJ and William and Rob and all the other workers and volunteers that made it all so exciting and memorable. See you at next years' show!
